The smallest details matter most.

About

Rosanna Rose.

I’m Rosanna, founder of By Rosanna Rose: a journal on interiors, architecture and culture, and a studio that gives residences and hotels an identity people believe in.

After ten years in marketing and communications, much of it with luxury brands and residences, I work from the first line of the story to the final welcome: positioning, planning, copy, creative direction and the experience people remember.

I believe a place is judged by its smallest details. The weight of the paper, the first sentence on the website, the way a room is described before anyone has stood in it. When every one of those details agrees, people feel it, even if they could never say why.

Why the Studio

One person, the whole feeling.

I see what guests see

Luxury brands taught me that people judge the whole by the smallest detail, and remember how a place made them feel.

I know the inside of a project

Timelines, approvals, many suppliers and the pressure of an opening date. I have worked inside it, so I plan for it.

One point of contact

I brief and hold every partner to one vision, so you sign off with one person rather than chasing six.

I write it, then I carry it

One voice across website, brochure, social and email, carried into printed pieces, spaces and welcome moments.

I stay after the opening

From the first impression to the first night, someone is still looking after the details.

Led by the Journal

Ideas from the Journal shape the work in the Studio: the references, places and details worth borrowing.

Notes on interiors, architecture and culture: the places that follow us home, and why. Written slowly, published occasionally.
